In August–September 2025, JSC “Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation “Aktobe” underwent an independent corporate governance assessment in line with OECD/G20 international standards and best practices of the quasi-public sector.
The Company’s overall corporate governance rating reached 65.18%, corresponding to the “developed practice” level. By sections:

Transparency and audit: 58.5%
Experts noted substantial progress in strengthening the regulatory framework and enhancing the role of the Board of Directors, implementing the Corporate Governance Code, launching Board committees, preparing the first Sustainability Report, and developing the 2025–2029 Development Plan.
At the same time, the report identified areas for further improvement:

formalizing interaction between the Board of Directors, the Management Board, and the shareholder;

expanding the practice of performance evaluation for governing bodies;

developing the risk management system and internal audit;

deepening the integration of sustainability (ESG) principles;

strengthening disclosure, including non-financial reporting.
The results confirm JSC “SEC “Aktobe’s” commitment to the principles of transparency, accountability, and responsibility. In the coming years, the Company will continue efforts to enhance corporate governance quality and implement the recommendations of the independent assessment.
